This is a clock that I bought from an estate. It is not very old but it is excellent quality and the gilt bronze case remains in A+ condition.
I put a fresh (357 / 303) battery in it and the alarm works great but the clock runs slow. I don't see any way to adjust it.
The face of the clock says "Hour Lavigne a Paris dupuis 1848". It is stamped "France" along with a logo and some code numbers on the bottom. The face has Roman numerals (and a date window) and it is surrounded by a 1-24 number wheel in gold finish plus a stainless steel world cities wheel that can be turned as desired.
It measures 5 1/2'' wide and 6 7/8'' from front to back. It is about 2 1/4'' tall at the highest point.
