Made by Hines of Oxford, fine quality cotton jacquard woven tapestry cushion with the design of William Morris's famous ‘The Hare’ – facing left - on one side and a beige velvet back on the other side of the cushion.
Has a concealed zip-fastener and removable feather pad. Cushion is well stuffed and has a firm feel rather than a 'squashy' feel.
Measures 33 cm x 33 cm (13" x 13") and is Made in England. Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers.

The hare features on The Forest Tapestry designed by William Morris in 1887 at Merton Abbey and woven by Morris & Co's three most senior weavers. The Forest depicts scrolling acanthus leaves, a lion, peacock, hare and fox amongst wild flowers and was one of Morris & Co's finest tapestries.
