The NPI Electronic Instruments TC-20 duel channels temperature control system is one of mostly advanced instrument, designed for heating purposes  in electrophysiological experiments.

Controller provides two independent temperature controller channels

Controller is housed in 19 inch standard cabinet, with built-in power supply and cooling elements for the power devices.

The NPI TC-20 system guarantees low noise operation and has special protection features to prevent the preparation from damage.

Features:

Monitors temperature at two independent sites (e.g. bath and perfusate)

Selects set-point from either site

Accepts industry-standard thermistor (i.e. ALA TS-1 and TS-2) or analog command voltage inputs

Direct voltage control mode (for use as an adjustable DC power supply)

Proportional-integral controller optimizes speed of response and accuracy

12V, 2.5 A output (TC-10) or 12V, 2.0A output/each channel  (TC-20) for maximal heating power

Low-noise electronics are compatible with single-channel recording 

Output limiter prevents damage to heating elements

Automated sensor input powers down unit if sensor is disconnected or damaged

BNC outputs deliver temperature data to data acquisition systems
