Brand New Black Steel cotterless axle of varying lengths 

 to measure a cotterless  axle correctly the shortest end on the left side is measured from the end to the outside edge of the lip (eg 30mm) then centre measurement is from outer lip to outer lip  ( eg 50mm ) right side is measured like left side from the end to the outside edge of the lip ( eg 38mm ) the right side is always the longest end then you have the total length ( eg 118mm )
