Worn Feet on the base of the mixer should be replaced.

The mixer requires a lot of ventilated air flow to keep the motor cool.

Please see item 111301540575 for a Kit with Feet.

Worn Feet can lead to Motor damage.

This Listing is for a Kenwood Chef 901, A901 and 901P Motor Repair Kit.

This kit is not suitable for a A901e.

Normally when the motor stops working (dead) or it's starts smoking,
or even running at one speed, 
then usually one or more of the components, has blown or is starting to fail.
