With this motorised dual-gang rotary potentiometer from the Alps RK271 series, the position of the spindle can be adjusted by hand as with a conventional potentiometer or the potentiometer has an in-bult motor and gearbox which allows a connected circuit to control the position of the potentiometer autonomously. The potentiometer features a flat shaft, is through hole mount. The device can be used in many proojects and applications but is particularly well suited to audio applications such as controlling volume on amplifiers, cd players, karaoke machines and radio cassettes.The device can be PCB mounted or, if desired, chassis mounted and connected to a board by hook-up wire.
