You are buying a rare gas heater metering unit complete with pump as the photos show. This came off a Porsche 356 or an early Porsche 911. This could work on a Porsche 356 or a 65-69 Porsche 901, 911 and 911S. These were also used in some Volkswagens or VW, and we are not sure exactly what VWs this is correct for. This is an early version with a black Hardi motor cover/ contact housing, the later ones were orange. We are not certain if this unit came off a 6V or 12V car. The lines are still on it so you can cut new ones to length, the rubber lines are 40 years old and should be replaced.
The Porsche part number is 901 572 511 30 if it a 12V version
It is Mod E57 Hardi
