Up for listing is a beautiful vintage set of 5 Chinese "Rice Grain" translucent porcelain bowls from Cheng's "White Jade Porcelain" collection. Produced as high-quality commercial export wares in the late 20th century, these factory-molded pieces offer fantastic durability alongside a classic look.

Each footed bowl features a uniform, machine-stamped blue underglaze double-dragon motif chasing the flaming pearl in the center, accented by geometric borders and a delicate wave band at the inner rim. The sides of the bowls feature the popular factory-assisted "rice eye" technique, where uniform rice-grain-shaped cutouts in the clay are filled with clear glaze before firing, allowing light to beautifully shine through.

**Condition:**

Excellent vintage pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs. The white porcelain remains bright, and the cobalt blue graphics are crisp, glossy, and identically matched across the set.

**Markings:**

Each base is stamped with the red underglaze factory maker's mark: "WHITE JADE PORCELAIN / MICROWAVE SAFE / Cheng's ®".

Perfect replacement pieces, additions to an existing Asian blue-and-white transferware collection, or gorgeous, microwave-safe daily serving bowls for rice, soups, and tapas!
