Vintage Wooden Milliner's Sailor Hat Block
Beautiful vintage two-piece turned wooden hat block. This set includes upper crown block and the coordinating bottom brim flange collar. I presume it originally had second, larger crown block which is not present. The wood displays a wonderful rich, aged amber patina with light cosmetic wear, faint surface scuffs, and authentic pin markings consistent with professional studio use. It also has a chunk taken out of one side of the flange shown at the bottom of the photos, but retains one complete brim-crown pairing for a 19" diameter sailor hat. Suitable for millinery or display.
