Hand carved wooden bookend featuring a kneeling monk or saint in prayer, possibly Saint Anthony as indicated by the faint carving on the back. This rustic piece showcases a rich, warm wood grain with visible chisel marks that add to its folk art charm. The figure is depicted in a hooded robe, kneeling on a textured base against a scalloped backplate. Perfect for adding a spiritual or monastic touch to a library, study, or bookshelf.
