The unique concept of the original machine is in employing an offset, weighted cam to create centrifugal force which moves the armature pin. Creating a needle hit that very much resembles a coil machine. This one give you the snap of a coil machine with the consistency and smoothness of a rotary. 

I've had this machine since 2013-ish and it's been in my top drawer ever since. There have been several revisions of this machine over the years. But this one is the original concept. Still runs as smooth as the day I got it.
