Nice styling to this mid 1930's two piece ski or snowmobile ensemble. The jacket, in a bluish gray cotton twill fabric, reverses to a red cotton poplin. The red has a buttoning flap pocket; the gray has two two flap pockets. It has shoulder pads, and it fastens with a Talon zipper, the style dating it to the mid 1930's.
There is some fading at the shoulders to the blue fabric, it's very good otherwise.
It measures 36" around at the bust, 31" at the waist, 15" in between the shoulders in back, it's 23" long, collar seam
The mannequin has a 34" bust, 25" waist, for reference.
The pants are a slightly different shade of blue-ish gray cotton twill. They have a rectangular Talon zip at the side, this seeming to date to the WWII era, two buttoning flap pockets, tabs and buckles at the side, two buttoning flap pockets. and are lined with black cotton.
These measure 25" around at the waist, have a 28" inseam, measure 18" across at the hip area, and have a 14 5/8" rise in front. There is extra fabric inside at the back seam, about 3 1/2" at the top of the waist, that could be let out.
They are in good condition, with some fading at the back left hip area, some fading at the top section of both legs, that is mostly below the pockets but above knees, front and back, some mild discoloration around the fold lines at the front legs, a few other small variations in color here and there.
The straps have lost their stretch but are not torn or ripped.
The tag on the collar was good for one day of snowmobiling.
