E arly Swiss illustrated postcard depicting a woman in traditional Vaud (Waadt) costume holding grapes and a basket beside a vineyard, with mountains in the background. The colourful illustration includes the printed captions Vaud and Waadt. The reverse bears the publisher imprint Edition J. Aeger Genève, a GJC emblem and the wording Costumes suisses. An attractive example of Swiss regional costume and viticulture imagery, likely dating from the early 20th century.
Unposted postcard with visible age-related toning, light surface marks and wear to the corners and edges. The reverse has substantial areas of brown staining and paper residue or adhesive damage, particularly across the upper and lower sections and along the right edge. The front illustration remains colourful, with some surface ageing and minor marks.
