This listing is for a beautiful hand-stitched baby quilt, signed by the quilter in marker on one back corner and dated 1978. It measures approximately 42" x 53" with an additional 3/4" eyelet border on all edges. It has a solid white back with light blue outline stitching from the reverse side. It appears to be cotton, but I cannot guarantee it as it has no fabric information. It looks like it was not used. I had a friend examine it as well, and neither of us could find any stains or discolorations. It has a sweet toy animal, baby doll, rocking horse, and flower print. Many of the animals have hand-stitched outlines in light blue thread. The stitching is neat and even, and the quilt itself is beautifully put together with an even print and pretty eyelet border. It was obviously a work of love by someone who was very good at sewing, and wanted to make a quilt for someone dear. The recipient must have treasured it enough to keep it in such good condition.
