Colibríes de Morelos existed in Mexico’s top flight for only the Clausura 2003, having been created after Atlético Celaya’s franchise was transferred to Morelos during the 2002/03 season. They finished 13th overall with 23 points from 19 matches, recording six wins, five draws and eight defeats, but did not qualify for the Liguilla. Despite finishing above several clubs in the tournament table, the relegation coefficient sent Colibríes down, and the short-lived club subsequently disappeared. The 2002/03 away kit, produced by Mexican manufacturer Cruzeiro Q, featured an unusual asymmetric blue, green and white design with extensive commercial branding across the front, back and sleeves. Football Kit Archive confirms Cruzeiro Q as the manufacturer and classifies the design as the club’s 2002/03 Liga MX away kit.
