Up for your consideration is a 1998 Royal Copenhagen (of Denmark) porcelain Christmas plate, depicting a small child and their dog waving to a man aboard a fishing vessel. The plate is called Welcome Home and was designed by Sven Vestergaard. The plate has a border with a star at the top and the year 1998 at the bottom.

The plate measures 7 1/8 inches across and weighs 12 7/8 ounces.

The back is marked: "VELKOMSTKOMITE" - "WELCOME HOME" - stylized initials SV (standing for Sven Vestergaard) - Royal (crown) Copenhagen Denmark, then 3 wavy blue lines with initials HT. There are 2 holes in the rim for hanging the plate.

The plate is in excellent, like-new condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are no signs of wear or use.
