Up for sale is a fantastic mixed sampler lot of authentic vintage copper filigree gallery wire / frame banding trim. This beautiful material was salvaged directly from the historic inventory of a premium picture frame manufacturer.
This specific bundle weighs 105 grams total and consists of two separate pieces, each featuring a completely different historical pattern design:
- Victorian Floral Rosette: Features stylized four-petal flower heads separated by delicate vertical beaded segments with solid flat borders on both sides.
- Art Nouveau Waves & Scrolls: Features elegant sweeping openwork curls and textured scrollwork with finished solid borders framing the edges.
Both pieces measure a precise 1/2 inch wide and are crafted from genuine copper (or high-content copper alloy). They display a beautiful, rich aged patina with subtle natural verdigris highlights in the recessed accents.
Estimated Length: Approximately 9 to 12 total linear feet combined across the two pieces. The bundle has been kept coiled with its original wire ties to protect the delicate pierced openwork structures from accidental bending.
