French-language volume containing Voltaire's correspondence, including Recueil des Lettres de M. de Voltaire – Suite de l'année 1761–1763.

This is part of the important Kehl edition of Voltaire's works associated with Beaumarchais and published shortly after Voltaire's death.

CONDITION: This copy is offered as an antiquarian book in poor binding condition. The original leather binding is extremely worn with substantial loss to the spine covering, exposed binding structure, rubbing and scratching to the boards and significant weakness/separation around the joints.

The internal pages appear considerably better preserved than the exterior, with expected age toning and occasional spotting/marks.

No attempt has been made to restore or repair the binding.Please examine all photographs carefully. This is being sold primarily as an original 1785 antiquarian volume suitable for a collector, researcher or professional restoration project.
