This is a lovely classic automatic Swiss watch from around 1970. It is powered by a gorgeous gilt finished ETA 2782 self-winding 25 jewel movement which is in good working order and keeps good time over a 24-hour period. It looks great in a variety of environments from the dressy to the casual. It has been fitted with a brand new 18mm leather strap and is ready to go.

 

Dial

Signed LEGION at the top and AUTOMATIC 25 JEWELS under the hands. It says SWISS at the very bottom. The backdrop is a lovely silver SUNBURST finish and look beautiful as the light passes over it. There is an elegant date aperture at the 3 position which can also be turned using the quickset function ? just pull the crown out one click and revolve.

Gold plated classic round 33mm case.

 

Movement

Great quality 25 jewel ETA 2782 automatic calibre working well. It keeps time well within a couple of minutes a day and once well charged will run for a long period off the wrist too.

 

It measures :   33mms without the crown
