Italian Capodimonte-Style Porcelain Wine Monk, c. 1960-1980

Colorful hand-painted figure of a cheerful seated monk holding a wine jug and drinking cup, with expressive modeled face, tonsured hair and decorated circular base. Remnants of factory mark and hand-painted inventory/model number to underside.

He is in super condition with all his fingers, toes, hair, and more. There is some loss of the gold color around the bottom which does not detract from the beauty of this piece. He is 9" tall and the
