Guns N’ Roses played two nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 1 and 2 July 2022 as part of their European summer tour, after the concerts had originally been postponed from 2020 and subsequently rescheduled twice because of the pandemic. The opening night was especially significant because it was the first-ever music concert staged at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, marking another step in the venue’s development as a multi-purpose arena. Tens of thousands attended as Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and the band performed material including Welcome to the Jungle, November Rain and Paradise City. Carrie Underwood also made surprise appearances on both nights, joining the band for Sweet Child O’ Mine and Paradise City. The Tottenham Hotspur × Guns N’ Roses fan-merch polo shirt combines the Spurs cockerel and Guns N’ Roses emblem on the chest, with a large crossover “SPURS N’ ROSES” graphic and number 11 treatment on the reverse. The garment itself identifies the collaboration as “Tottenham Hotspur V Guns N’ Roses” and is made from 100% cotton.
