Ready to Frame

This ORIGINAL German Reich art print comes from an apartment clearance sale in Munich. There were a dozen framed art prints in the apartment of a noble couple. I purchased them about 30 years ago and removed them from their frames.

The scene depicted in the art print *Based on a Drawing by Karl Storch* shows East Prussian refugees. Karl Storch was a well-known painter and art professor who was highly regarded during the National Socialist era. In January 1944, Storch received the Goethe Medal for Art and Science, established by Hindenburg and appeared on the 1944 "God-gifted" list of the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.

This original art print offered measures 11.5 x 8 inch and on the reverse is the personal Heinrich Hoffmann photo studio stamp from his photo studio at Friedrich street 34 in Munich. Eva Braun worked in this photo studio. It was there that Hi.ler met her for the first time; the two fell in love and married in 1945.

Heinrich Hoffmann held the exclusive copyrights to these art prints !
