This is a beautiful handled Tutbury crystal jug/water pitcher.
It has not been used and still has the original sticker on the side, (but it’s not marked on the base with the makers name).
It measures approximately 18.5 cm tall at the tallest point, by 12 cm wide and 14 cm wide at the top to the spout.
It is in excellent condition, and would be ideal for engraving as it’s a beautiful plain piece of crystal, with a feature starburst base, there is some graininess to the bottom eighth within the glass.
This is a heavy piece of crystal 1.5kg, and it is beautiful quality.
Being hand crafted there is a line/cord running through the glass. Tutbury Crystal actually specifically addresses this. They say a “line” or “cord” can occur when molten crystal is fused together, caused by a difference in density where the glass joins. It can be visible in certain lighting but isn’t considered a flaw.
