Thin, fine, with a tight close but PLUSH pile, a subtle shimmer; a Millinery type with both selvedges.
Excellent usable condition with NO shattering, rot, holes, rips/tears, staining or fading. Several minutes 'spots' of flattening of the fibers make it appear like 'holes' but there aren't any.. it's just the way that the light hits it. Refer to photos of the back for a close-up view.
