Very early sampler by Jermima Winchester dated August 30th but it does not give the year.

Despite that it is very early about 1820 as the linen backing is so fine.

There are so small areas of wear as shown but when framed on a suitable backing would be barely noticeable. It measures 13" x 15.5".
