A Portfolio of Australian Birds.

Colour plates by William T. Cooper with text by Keith Hindwood.

Published by A. H. & A. W. Reed and first published in 1968.

A large-format ornithological work featuring beautifully detailed colour illustrations of Australian birds accompanied by descriptive natural-history text.

William T. Cooper became highly regarded for his bird illustration, and the plates in this book are particularly attractive.

The original dust jacket is present but is in very heavily worn condition with tears, losses, old tape repairs, creasing and staining. The book itself appears substantially better than the jacket, although it does show age-related wear. Please study all photographs carefully.

A desirable book for collectors of bird illustration, Australian ornithology and natural-history art.
