Richard John Beattie 'Dick' Seaman was a British racing driver who drove for the Mercedes-Benz team from 1937 to 1939 in the W125 and W154 cars. In 1938 he won the German Grand Prix but only the following year tragically died as a result of his injuries when his car overturned at the Belgian Grand Prix.
This autographed card is dated 1937 by its postage stamp, tying this item near to the height of Seaman's racing career. Accompanying this is an image of the driver of unknown origin, mounted to paper by photograph corners.
