This unmarked Art Nouveau silver cigarette case exudes elegance and craftsmanship, with its repousse pattern showcasing intricate designs typical of the Art Nouveau style. Weighing 93g, this piece from the late 19th century is a true antique treasure. Perfect for collectors or those looking to add a touch of vintage sophistication to their smoking accessories, this cigarette case is a stunning example of Art Nouveau design.

Tested using the ice cube method, ice started melting immediately - just not sure if it is sterling or another grade like 800, 840, 850.  Thinking it's a little less than sterling since it did not quite melt as fast as sterling usually does. Also tested with a magnet. I'm thinking it is European, likely Eastern.  Also, a silverplate piece would unlikely have the heavy gold gilt interior.  Pricing it as a piece of period Art Nouveau cigarette case.  Still usable today as a card case, contact lens, ear pods, etc.
