It was purchased on a trip in the mid 1900's to Italy.

It measures approx 13" x 9.5"

It is constructed of one large stiff folded leather piece. The leather is ornately designed and its edges are whip stitched with leather cord. 

The cover has a Pictorial insert of a city scene, perhaps of the  Santa Lucia neighborhood in Naples. 

The inside is lined in fabric. The pages are heavy card stock type paper with tissue paper pages between each. See photos.

This piece is in unused condition but for the last page, which has remnants of tape on its back side. See photos.

The interior pages show some fading from age. See photos. 

The exterior leather cover has some wear from age/handling. Notably, some surface losses at the edges of the spine. See photos. 

The insert of the back cover has become partially detached. See photos. 

Also, the binding piece at the back of the album has a rough somewhat ragged edge. See photos.
