This vintage lot of 48 glossy 3" x 4.5" photographs captures the essence of post-war Japan. The black and white gelatin-silver prints showcase the country's tourism, Buddha, and landscape. Each photo is an original piece, produced on silver gelatin photographic paper and on the back is a short description of the image. I'm estimating the date of these photos based on the inclusion of a shot of the Ernie Pyle Theater which bore that name only between 1945 and 1955. All photos are in pristine condition and are contained in their original  decorative box. The collection is a great addition for any collector of vintage photographs and a perfect way to own a piece of Japan's history. The lot is classified under "Photographs," "Photographic Images," and "Collectibles" categories on eBay.
