I’m not a collector, but in 2004 I inherited a toy collection from a very meticulous collector. This is one he purchased and stored, so the toy itself appears to be new and the box shows some shelf wear.  It's made in China by Juyou and I'm not sure when it was made. The toy is just shy of 8" tall and made of litho tin. The monkey's face is so is extremely cute - reminds me of a Dr. Suess character. It's in great working condition. Wind it up with the enclosed key and the elephant's trike  rolls forward with the front wheels angled to the left so that it moves in a circle. While it moves the globe atop the elephant's trunk spins. I just got it out to make sure it’s all there and test it, other than that, it's been stored indoors and untouched since 2004.
