This an account of the "disastrous British attempt to block the German invasion of Norway in April 1940" viewed through the experiences of one of the soldiers involved. Joseph Kynock served with the 1/5th Battalion the Leicestershire Regiment whch with the 1/8th Battalion The Sherwood Foresters formed the North West Expeditionary Force (Code name Sickleforce), later 148 Brigade. Handling wear to original cloth boards and dj with edge chipping/minor tears and slightly sunned spine but titling legible.
