This vintage Native American necklace features shell heishi beads with turquoise stones at the front. Small sterling silver beads are placed between the turquoise pieces, adding contrast and detail to the center section.
The necklace has a classic heishi construction with natural variation in the shell beads and turquoise. The clasp is not sterling silver and appears to be a base metal, possibly brass or copper.
The necklace measures approx. 16" long.

The center turquoise nuggets measure approximately 0.75" by 0.5".
There is no purity mark, however it has been tested positive for sterling silver.
