Very sweet vintage 1950's "Effanbee" "Honey" doll. She is 19 inches high and hard plastic. She is a walker and when you move her legs her head goes from side to side. She has a glued on saran wig, blue sleep eyes and pretty face paint. She is wearing her complete original outfit that consists of a dress, panties, socks and shoes. Her dress is blue cotton, with a silvery stripe. It has a sheer "blouse" effect, with puffed sleeves and bodice and sleeves are trimmed with delicate lace. A black satin bow at the neck. It has a fitted waist and very full skirt. It snaps in the back. Matching panties with lace trim at the legs. Nylon knit socks and black oilcloth shoes that snap on the sides. (some photos show one unsnapped, but they both snap closed perfectly, I just didn't notice that one was undone when I took the photos.) I have added the satin bow to her hair and have made her a tulle petticoat to make her full skirt stand out nicely. She is in excellent condition, these are the issues: there is a very slight discoloration near the bottom of the front bodice, she is missing a heel on one shoe, she has a tiny scratch on each cheek and one of her eyes has a few missing lashes. These can be seen in final photos. Please examine them carefully. Non smoking home. Payment must be made within 24 hours of end of auction.
