Up for sale is a highly collectible lot of two genuine vintage high school music department patches, dating back to circa 1955. This unique pairing traces the historic educational evolution of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, showcasing both Belleville High School and the joint Menno-Union School District prior to their later consolidations.

The lot includes two premium chenille-on-felt varsity band jacket patches:

1. Belleville High School Band Patch: Features a royal blue felt shield base cut out in a classic musical lyre shape. It houses a plush off-white chenille letter "B" and chenille "BAND" text across the bottom.

2. Menno-Union Band Patch: Features a royal blue felt base in a lyre/music motif, decorated with a prominent cream-colored chenille scroll banner reading "M-U". The word "Band" is beautifully chain-stitched in cursive at the bottom.

* Manufacturer Provenance: Both patches feature their original, fully intact cloth labels on the reverse from "The Standard Pennant Co." out of Big Run, PA, bearing the vintage slogan: "If made of felt, chenille, or process... 'we make it'".

* Dimensions: The Belleville patch measures approximately 6 inches wide; the Menno-Union patch measures approximately 5.25 inches tall (see photo with measuring tape for side-by-side scale).

* Condition: Outstanding vintage condition for textile premiums roughly 70 years old. The royal blue felt backings remain clean with bright, tight chenille pile and crisp contrasting thread. The reverse sides show light, natural age-toning on the backing canvas with very minimal surface wear.
