DESCRIPTION

A Chinese porcelain ginger jar cover of shaped lobed form, decorated with colorful auspicious objects and emblems. The design combines underglaze blue with iron red and green enamels on a pale ground. A prominent blue glazed knop forms the handle, while the surrounding decoration includes ribboned objects and traditional symbolic motifs.
