This is my Yamaha YAH602S Eb tenor horn.
It carries serial number 301310.
It is in wonderful used condition and is a professional level instrument, a country mile better than the 3 series.

The silver plate is great throughout and as you would expect all the slides and valves move smoothly as they should. There is the tiniest bump flat spot on the top bow near the valve block, as is the case with almost all tenor horns.

Valves have excellent compression and it plays well through the whole range.
Comes complete with the original Yamaha 38D4 mouthpiece and hard case.

This particular instrument was imported by me from Germany, hence the Musikhaus stickers on the hard case. In the UK these are known as the Maestro model.

In the picture of the open bell, the pattern that you can see is the reflection of the carpet.
