For your consideration WW I Ross Rifle bayo converted in WW II for US army. The wooden grips stamped "US" and leather scabbard stamped also "US" - please see images.Size: 13" inches overall with a 7 1/2" inch unaltered blade and 2 piece wood grip panels.
Marked to the right side of the pommel, "Ross Rifle company, Enfield, 1907".
Date stamped 9-13 (September 1913) with a Canadian C-Broadarrow to the right side.
Proof mark that also appears on the spine between the grip panels.
Both wood grip panels and face of the scabbard are stamped "U.S."
The reverse of the scabbard stamped with a large Canadian C-Broadarrow .
