Very contemporary retelling of one of the greatest natural disasters in American history- the 1900 devastation by Galveston by one of the worst hurricanes ever encountered, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives and destruction of the city. Amply illustrated by photos. Fairly good condition hardback with no jacket. There do not appear to be loose or damaged pages.  I chose not to try take scans of the interior photos to try and protect the book.
