This is a stunning and rare vintage Vivienne Westwood Charm bracelet from the 00s. Please note this is the earlier version with the rounded lobster clip charms and not the later square lobster charms done in the 2010s. Considering its age, it has cleaned up beautifully and was barely worn by its previous owner. It has its original box, which does show a few signs of ageing; considering this is nearly 20 years old, it’s doing well. The enamel on the charms is still very clean and crisp.

It has four charms and then the mini 3D orb near the fastening hoop.

• 3D lamb with orb on its belly.
• Evil eye orb
• Heart with shooting star in enamel
• Heart with Lucky and orb in enamel.

The bracelet is 19.5cm end to end. this is a very rare piece and in great condition so asking £129.99 a steal as many ask £50 just for the charms on their own.

These are made of rhodium plated on brass. To preserve these, never use a metal polisher on this and just use lukewarm water with some gentle washing-up liquid when cleaning; following this means they stay beautiful as this example shows.

Also, only ever put Westwood Jewellery on at the very end when perfumes, hairsprays, lotions or tans have dried; otherwise, the ingredients can mix with the plating and damage it. The number one reason I see Westwood Jewellery damaged is from perfume, as the alcohol in them reacts with the plating. This is closely followed by fake tan, especially damaging to the faux pearls Westwood uses. These pieces, when carefully and well looked after, last for years; I have items from when I first went to Westwood in the late 90s still in great condition from carefully looking after them.
