This is a vintage miniature hand fan that I found packed with my grandmother's Doll collection.
Its size suggests it was a doll's fan or a child's toy fan.
It is constructed of wood sticks and guards that support a Asian designed paper mount,
It has a metal pin and loop at the base from which hangs a threaded tassel.
The tassels feels like cotton.
The mount displays a delicate Asian floral design. The backside has an all over metallic mottled pattern.
This fan measures approx 4.5" long x 7" spread or width.
This fan is in good condition considering it is probably mid century.
The wooden parts may have some patina from age. There are a few dark spots on the back of the sticks.
There is slight wear at some of the edges. Please see photos for exact condition.
Otherwise, I can seen no obvious defects, rips or evidence of repairs.
