Meier & Frank was a major Pacific Northwest retailer founded in 1857 and later became part of Macy’s in 2006. Store-branded toys like this were often sold in the toy department or used as promotional items.

This example measures approximately 4¾ inches long and features:

• Pressed tin body construction

• Original dark green paint

• White “Meier & Frank Co.” script lettering

• Lithographed headlights and grille detail

• Crimped metal front and rear bumpers

• Metal disc wheels with free-rolling axles

• Black painted tin chassis

• Underside stamped “Japan”
