This listing features the Lo-D MT-24 MM cartridge paired with an unused stylus DS-ST24 by Daitokyo Jewelry, both from Hitachi. The DS-ST24 stylus is brand new and unopened in its original packaging. The cartridge has been tested with a personal stylus and confirmed to produce sound from both channels. Visual inspection through the packaging shows the cantilever and needle tip are in excellent condition. Although similar in appearance to Victor’s MD-1025 (also known as Z-1s), the MT-24 has a different base shape, making the Z-1s stylus incompatible. Included is a black Lo-D straight-arm head shell, allowing immediate use. Please note, this head shell is designed exclusively for straight-arm tonearms and cannot be mounted on S-shaped arms.
