Pokémon Greavard 104/198 — Trick or Trade 2023 Halloween Stamped Card
Of all the cards in the Trick or Trade Halloween set, this is the one that actually looks the part.
Greavard is the Ghost Dog Pokémon, and yuu has drawn it exactly as it should be: a shaggy grey sheepdog of a thing with a single candle burning on its head, sitting in a dark wood with more candles flickering in the leaf litter around it. The bare trees and the deep purple sky behind it do the rest. It is the sort of card people buy for the artwork rather than for play.
What makes it a Trick or Trade card rather than an ordinary pack card is the stamp: a Pikachu-eared jack-o'-lantern printed in the bottom right corner of the artwork window. That stamp is the only difference between this and the standard release, and it is what the set's collectors are looking for.
This is a Common card with a regular, non-holo finish — flat card stock, no foil layer. It carries the black circle Common symbol. I am stating that plainly because a good many stamped-card listings claim a rarity the card does not have.
The set is Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle 2023, released 1 September 2023, and the copyright line on the card reads 2023. The base card comes from the Scarlet & Violet base set, shown by the silver border and the SVI code beside the card number.
Please note this is not the Greavard illustration rare. That is a different card — number 214 from the Scarlet & Violet base set, with full-bleed artwork and no Halloween stamp — and it is worth considerably more than this one. What you are buying here is the stamped Common, number 104.
Near Mint. The card has been kept out of play. The front is flat and clean with no creasing, no print lines and no surface marks, the corners are square, and the back shows no whitening along the edges or corners. It has not been graded and I am not claiming a grade — this is my own honest assessment and the photographs are there for you to judge from.
