Colonel Ulysses "Xerk" White played college football as a wide receiver and wingback at the University of Kansas in 1970, after transferring from New Mexico Military Institute. After his collegiate football career, he built a notable 30-year career in the U.S. Army and became a trailblazing elected official in Manassas, Virginia.
