Our handling costs can include:

    * Fees associated with listing and selling this item
    * Costs for labor / time to package items
    * Costs of packaging materials, tape, etc. 
    * Costs of getting packages to shipment in the quickest manner possible

Also please understand that fragile items require lots of packing material and larger boxes to ensure that they get to you in one piece.  You'll see when you receive the item that we do provide a valuable service for our handling charges.  We've shipped thousands of items and you will see the difference experience makes.

All of our items are shipped with insurance coverage.  If your item is lost in transit PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST before opening a claim.  If your item is damaged upon arrival, PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST.  We will file the claim on our behalf and process a refund for you.  All of the carriers will require you to show the original packaging so please keep all boxes and materials so that we may file a successful claim and refund your payment.

ADDRESS CHANGES:   All address changes MUST be made BEFORE you submit your payment.  You MUST change the "ship to" address associated with your payment!  We will NOT ship items to a different address than the address associated to your payment.    This is eBay's POLICY.  We also abide by it.   It is YOUR FAULT if items are sent to an old address because you did not properly update your contact information.
   
ITEMS RETURNED TO SENDER:  If your item is returned as undelivered due to your mistake in entering the correct ship to address, you will be responsible to pay the shipping and handling cost amount again to pay for postage for shipping the item a second time.  If your item is returned to us for being undelivered, the post office doesn’t give us a refund for postage...we still get charged, and if you want it sent out a second time after your error, you will have to pay a second time.  This error is easily avoided - DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIP TO ADDRESS BEFORE PAYING TO AVOID ANY UNDELIVERED ITEMS.

• Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  MANY PARCEL COMPANIES CHARGE A CUSTOMS HANDLING / AGENT PROCESSING FEE THAT IS IN ADDITION TO THE EBAY SHIPPING CHARGES.  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL FEES.  IF YOU REFUSE A PACKAGE BECAUSE OF CUSTOMS FEES YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS INCURRED, AND THESE CHARGES WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR REFUND AMOUNT.

• Shipments via USPS First Class Mail International can take significantly longer (20-25 business days longer) to receive than shipments sent via USPS Priority Mail International.  Please plan accordingly if you are ordering a time-sensitive item.

• Items sent via USPS First Class Mail International do not have tracking / delivery confirmation numbers.  We have no way of tracking the status of USPS First Class Mail International packages.   If you feel you need to have package tracking / delivery confirmation, please select USPS Priority Mail International as your shipping method; if it is not offered as a selection, please e-mail us for a USPS Priority Mail International shipping quote BEFORE bidding or making an offer.  
• International packages must be paid at a USPS counter and / or hand delivered to USPS by the sender (us) so we charge a nominal fee to cover our time and costs incurred with sending international packages.  This cost is in addition to the cost of postage, and is included in the shipping and handling amount.

  Processing and Shipping Times:

Firstly; please understand that I am not a FULL TIME eBayer. I endeavor to process payments and ship all items in a timely fashion, and some times the “real job” prevents immediate / same day shipments.   The “handling time” stated in this listing is typically the maximum that it takes us to get this item to the shipping company; most items are shipped sooner in that time window.  (Most of the time we “under promise and over deliver”).  But sometimes, getting items shipped out takes as long as the “handling time” states.  

Shipping notification e-mails are the sole notice you will receive that your item has been shipped.  Due to Postal Service policies, postmarks have to be forward dated to the date they receive the package, so an item that will be processed and shipped at 4:00 on Tuesday will have notification sent out on Wednesday.  Please keep in mind that sometimes we process packages outside of the USPS operating times, and this can affect when notification e-mails are sent by USPS...so please do not let that reflect on the level of service we provide.  Thanks!
