Wonderful pair of sequential original pen-and-ink comic art pages produced for Amalgamated Press's “Chicks' Own Annual”, with the reverse specifically annotated “Chicks' Own Annual – FOR COLOUR”.

The artwork is currently unattributed, although the style and subject matter warrant comparison with Vera Bowyer, a long-running Chicks' Own artist responsible for The Tale of Betty and Golly and Fun in Toy Land.
