Sony A7 / A7R / A7S Underwater Housing – Seafrogs / Meikon

The Sony A7, A7R and A7S underwater housing by Seafrogs / Meikon is a waterproof protective case designed specifically for the first-generation Sony A7-series cameras. It allows you to take your camera underwater for scuba diving, snorkelling and underwater photography while providing access to the camera’s main controls.

I purchased this housing several years ago but unfortunately never got the opportunity to use it, as I no longer have the compatible camera. I previously owned an underwater housing for my Canon DSLR and was always impressed with the quality of images these housings can produce underwater.

Please note that this housing is specifically designed for the first-generation Sony A7-series camera bodies and is tailored strictly to the original 2013 Sony A7, A7R and A7S.

It is not a universal Sony A7 housing and compatibility with later generations or other Sony models should not be assumed. Please check carefully that you have one of the original compatible 2013 camera bodies before purchasing.

A great opportunity for someone who already owns a compatible Sony A7, A7R or A7S and wants to get into underwater photography without paying the cost of a brand-new housing.
