Up for auction is the original 2007 Beatles "Love" factory sealed EU Limited Edition (Reportedly 5,000 were pressed and released). The record is a 27-track double LP pressed on heavyweight vinyl, containing 78 minutes of stereo music issued in conjunction with the outstanding production of "Love" by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage Theater in Las Vegas. I saw the production and it was outstanding! This collector's copy remains factory sealed in its hype sticker shrink wrap.
There are other ways of validating that this is the FIRST PRESSING of "Beatles Love". In addition to the hype sticker on the front of the album cover, the first pressing has a gatefold sleeve and is identified by Apple, Parlophone and Cirque Du Soleil logos on the back of the album cover and date 2007, with credits: "Beatles," "Apple," and the Apple logos and trademarks of Apple Corp. Ltd." This particular copy also has the security tab still attached. Last, but not least, a UPC of 094637 98081 1. This pressing also has "Made in Holland" sticker on the front cover. (See photos) The record labels also have characteristics unique to the first pressing, but since the record is still sealed, we'll have to take someone else's word for it.
