About This Book

Offered here is the 1985 TAN Books printing of Words of Love, a compilation of the private revelations of Our Lord to three twentieth-century religious sisters: Sister Josefa Menendez (1890–1923), Sister Mary of the Trinity (1901–1942), and Sister Consolata Betrone (1903–1946).

A monk of the Abbey of the Holy Trinity in Huntsville, Utah gathered these passages and arranged them under thirty-four major headings, drawing out the recurring themes of divine mercy, generosity, littleness, and the soul's surrender. The result is a compact but remarkably rich devotional volume — the kind of book readers return to repeatedly rather than read once. The original edition was published by the Abbey itself; TAN revised, reset, and republished it in this 1985 printing.

The book carries the Nihil Obstat of Rev. John Hedderman, J.C.L., and the Imprimatur of Bishop Joseph Lennox Federal of Salt Lake City. The cover features the classic Sacred Heart of Jesus devotional artwork against TAN's red banner design, characteristic of the publisher's Rockford, Illinois period.

A natural fit for readers of The Way of Divine Love, the Sacred Heart devotions, and traditional Catholic mystical literature.
